Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 Applies to: FrontRow Events Publisher

At a glance

  • The Events Publisher is an internal FrontRow service. It is not a product you can sign up for, and the public cannot upload or publish through it.
  • It promotes events that have already been listed publicly, posting to the official FrontRow TikTok account.
  • Event details come from third-party listings, so we cannot guarantee they are accurate or current — always confirm with the organiser.
  • Organisers can ask us to stop promoting their event at any time.

1.Acceptance of Terms

These terms govern the FrontRow Events Publisher (the “Publisher”), a service operated by FrontRow. By using the Publisher, by accessing the content it produces, or by authorising it to post on a FrontRow account, you agree to these terms.

The Publisher is internal software. Access is limited to authorised FrontRow personnel, and nothing here creates a right for anyone else to use it. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

2.Description of Service

The Publisher automates the promotion of events on FrontRow’s own social media. In a single run it:

  • reads approved, upcoming event information from FrontRow’s PostgreSQL database;
  • uses the event image already downloaded by the FrontRow Events Crawler;
  • generates a caption and hashtags describing the event;
  • publishes the promotion to the official FrontRow TikTok account;
  • records the outcome so the same event is not posted twice.

The Publisher does not crawl websites, does not download media, and does not modify the crawler’s records. It is an internal service with no public interface: members of the public cannot create accounts, upload material or publish content through it.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3.Public Event Information

The Publisher works only with event information that organisers, venues and ticketing platforms have already made public — event titles, descriptions, venues, dates, categories and promotional images.

Because that information originates with third parties, we cannot guarantee it is accurate, complete or current. Details can change after publication, and events can be moved or cancelled. Always confirm details with the organiser or the official ticketing page before making plans or buying tickets.

If you are an organiser and you would like your event removed from our promotion queue, or a detail corrected, contact us using the details in section 10 and we will act promptly.

4.TikTok Integration

The Publisher posts through the TikTok Content Posting API, authorised using TikTok’s OAuth flow. It publishes only to the official FrontRow TikTok account, which FrontRow owns and controls.

We operate this integration in line with TikTok’s Terms of Service, Developer Terms and Community Guidelines. The Publisher does not post to accounts belonging to other people, does not access other users’ content, and does not act on anyone else’s behalf.

TikTok controls its own platform. It may change its API, apply its own moderation, or restrict access, and any of these may interrupt publishing through no fault of ours. Authorisation may be revoked at any time from TikTok’s account settings, which stops the Publisher from posting.

5.Intellectual Property

The Publisher’s source code, design and the FrontRow name and branding belong to FrontRow and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of them.

Event images, artwork, logos and descriptions remain the property of their respective owners — organisers, venues, artists and promoters. FrontRow uses this material to promote the events themselves, in the way the material was published to be used. If you own rights in material we have posted and you want it taken down, contact us and we will remove it.

6.User Responsibilities

If you are authorised to operate the Publisher on FrontRow’s behalf, you agree to:

  • keep credentials and API tokens confidential, and not share them;
  • publish only events that are genuine, lawful and approved for promotion;
  • follow TikTok’s Community Guidelines and the platform rules that apply to each post;
  • not use the service to publish misleading, offensive, infringing or unlawful material;
  • not attempt to bypass rate limits, publishing caps or other technical controls.

If you are a member of the public, you have no obligations under these terms beyond the ordinary law — there is nothing for you to sign up to.

7.Third-Party Services

The Publisher depends on services we do not control, including TikTok, Cloudflare and Google Cloud. Each is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, and each may change or become unavailable.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability or content of these third parties. Where their terms conflict with ours in respect of their own platform, their terms govern the use of that platform.

8.Limitation of Liability

The Publisher is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that event information will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FrontRow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or connected with the service or these terms. This includes loss arising from inaccurate event information, from a failure to publish, or from the unavailability of a third-party platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9.Changes to the Terms

We may revise these terms as the service develops or as the law requires. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will change to reflect it. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the revised terms.
